As seen on TV: The "Car Cane" assist handle at door latch level.

X2 - My wife needed this before and after her knee replacement.
What a difference for her.

When I saw that on tv I thought it was an ingenious idea, until I thought about the consequences of forgetting to remove the device and slamming the door shut.

Had same issue with my 5'1" wife and traded her in for a taller model. I'll be darned if I have to get a smaller/lower truck ;-) I love my '15 F350.

BTW, we have Amp research retractable running boards on our F350. These work great for her to be able to reach up and pull herself in.

I traded my wifey 1.0 in 17 years ago for wifey 2.0. Much less complaining well worth the upgrade...

We have a F250 and hubby and I fight over who gets to drive it today. I love it.

I am 5'4'' tall and have no problem getting. We have running boards and grab handles by the door. Its an art to getting in. Good work out!

I get lots of looks from old guys and comments..."little lady, that's a mighty big truck you have". THANK YOU!! (My daily driver is a F150.)

The top of the tailgate is not as high as my head but over the top of my shoulder. I just step up on the bumper to get in the bed. Cleaning the windshield is another story.
