I think the manufacturers refer to this as "buffeting" it is reported to be caused by newer aerodynamics in vehicles. I believe they have sections in the car/truck manuals about this. Comes in handy when the kids won't quiet down!

well, I did hear cracking the rear window helps it out ....however, I was not going to opt for that feature.....in m experience opening that rear slider usually just blows dust & dirt inside the cab...

just trying to see exactly what I'm gonna get before I lay down my $60

True....I installed vent visors and if you crack a window in the rear, you need to crack one in the front and the noise stops.
