I won't argue with your take on the prices, but it's a heck of a lot easier to take that stance when you already have one!

They're all really good trucks. Pick the one you like best. None are defect-free.

I haven't had luck with Chrysler products, so I didn't look at the Ram. But, I'm sure they're great trucks. I like the GMC, but the interior materials seemed a bit cheaper than Ford and it was overall just a tad smaller. The family preferred the Ford. Couldn't believe how smooth and quiet the diesel was. F-350 was smoother running down roads (on and off road) than my F-150. Really impressed.

Again, they're all good.

Honestly, if I was to total my 2007 Duramax today, I would replace it with a used Duramax that I could delete. Maybe a newer model, maybe not. My son bought a great used Duramax for a third the price of a new one. Great solution to the new truck price problem
