Tow Ball Size

Hey Guys,

I just ordered a new Rockwood Roo 23 IKSS and wanted to know what the tow ball size was? I am ordering a weight distribution hitch and need to know what ball size I should order.

Anyone out there know what I need?

Thanks

Hmm.. now you have me worried. I'm just picking up a 23RS tomorrow (2011 model year). It's an hour away and I needed to get the hitch setup so I asked the salesperson to check. I was expecting 2 5/16, but he said it was 2", so I bought the 2" ball. But if the 23IKS uses 2 5/16 then probably the 23RS does as well. Very similar weights. Ugh.

Anyone know about the 23RS?

Yes, I'm sure the 23RS is 2-5/16".
2" are usually your utility trailer and popup campers.

My Roo has a 2". I looked at an older 23RS and that had a 2" also. I believe under 5K can be 2"

Yep, just visited the dealership today. It really is a 2" ball. They are good up to 8000lb weight and the 23RS maxes at 6061 so I guess it's OK. I assume they knew what they were doing :-).
