Tow mirrors
Hi, this is my first post! I have a 2015 Chevy suburban and it is a 1/2 ton with standard mirrors. What is everyone's favorite tow mirrors? Thanks!

I used CIPA slide on mirrors, on my Chevy Avalanche.

I know some people have been adding the mirrors from this site on their Chevys

I had the Cipa extensions on my 1999 Silverado. I used them a couple times and sold them. They were annoying.

I have used McKesh mirrors since 2004 on my Sequoia. Available from Hensley. These strap on using the window channel and a strap to the bottom of the door. Sort of ugly, but, very functional, store in trailer belly, and are solid. Have not scratched paint, and even though the outer window rubber deflects when mirrors are installed, it just resumes its shape when mirrors removed.

Yep everyone is different. I made sure when I ordered my F-150 I got the factory tow mirrors.

I only get mirrors designed for my specific vehicle. I pass on the universal fit mirrors. That's assuming you're just getting clamp-on mirrors. You also have the option of getting factory-type towing mirrors.

The door mount McKesh were GREAT on my Explorer. I keep looking at the CIPA slide ones and the factory type towing mirrors for my F150. BUT... I can look straight down my current TT sidewalls with the factory standard mirrors.
What is the width difference between your TT and TV mirrors. I.e., do you really need more mirror width?

Before I got my current TV I used those Camco suction cup mirrors. Only about $15-$20 each, depending on where you get them. Worked fine for me and I never had one fall off.

Only one set of vehicle specific tow mirrors for my Grand Cherokee (2016), they're replacements, and are about $700. Since I'm not towing every week, I think I'll just get a set of ones that strap to my mirrors.

+1 for the CIPA slide on mirrors made for your vehicle. They slide over the stock mirrors and add ~6" of mirror to both sides.

I used this type on my 04 Grand Cherokee and then on my 12 Armada.... loved them. Now have the Sunseeker but still have the McKesh... I'd give them away if someone would take them. Even have extra parts!
