Tow vehicle for R-Pod 190

Any opinion on Toyota Highlander vs Ford Explorer as tow vehicle for R-Pod 190? Both have 5000 lb weight limit.

We towed our 179 with a Highlander for a couple of years and it did pretty well, even in the mountains. Just make sure you get an AWD model and not FWD or else you will likely have traction issues. Our Highlander was FWD and that's really the only complaint I had.

A properly equipped Explorer, including the factory tow package, should do fine. Just watch how much water you carry as the weight adds up fast.
