Towed Vehicle lights

I have a 202 Sunseeker 2030DS. I am towing a 2003 Subaru with incandescent lighting. The lights on the Subaru will not operate when connected to the factory lighting connector. I purchased an auxiliary lighting system using LEDs and the parks work. the brakes do not, and the turn signals will flash 3 times and stop. Any ideas would be helpful.

Thanks,

Tom

Does your wiring kit have diodes like this one?
Separate brake and turn signals on your Subaru with combined turn and brake on your MH could be the problem.

Previously installed and worked well for a number of years om another MH.
Is there any requirement for a heavier duty flasher and where is it located.

I'm not familiar with a Sunseeker 2030DS. What truck chassis is it built on?

It is a standard Ford E450 chassis.
