Jeep caster and camber are not so easy to adjust......
Inspecting a steering damper..would only tell you if it is leaking. From experience, I can tell you that there is a BIG difference in brands and how well they control DW. Not always the "best" brands doing the best job....
Wear on steering components should certainly be inspected. But my Wrangler Rubicon Recon started doing it under 10K miles.

I experienced this when towing a small car behind our motorhome. I dealt with this periodically for several thousand miles over a 2 year period. It’s a long story, but it came to an end when the car went into such contortions that the hitch welded to the motorhome was ripped off and the car crashed into pieces in a nearby yard-a horrifying experience. After reflecting on the cause for months, I have concluded that the second hand car bought from a dealership had probably been wrecked and the rear was out of alignment.
I would caution anyone to take first signs of a ‘death wobble’ very seriously and have the towed vehicle inspected and repaired.
