Trailer axle weights: Something not adding up

Howdy Campers,

I bought a Rockwood 2707WS with Dexter torsion flex axles. The axles are rated at 4,000 pounds. The sticker on the camper dry weight is 7,300 pounds, and max cargo is 1,347 pounds. So 7,300 + 1,347 = 8,637 pounds...637 pounds over the max axle rating. I am now officially confused. Which do I believe, the axle rating of 8k or sticker GVWR of 8637?

Do you expect your 2009 Ram 2500 5.7/3:73 to carry any of this weight? Yep... that's your tongue weight.

Shucks, forgot about that. When I scaled it the trailer weight was 7160. Duh...transferred to TV. Thanks for the reminder. Question answered.
