Trailer brakes.

I recently purchased my first nice travel trailer...a 2018 wildwood x-lite.
My question for the group, being a newbie, when I unhooked my camper in my driveway..I lowered the hitch arm and popped the emergency brake cable because I had I laying over the sway bar.
I pushed the plastic pin back into place on the brake system...am I going to be ok the next time I hookup and haul my camper??
Thanks for any help, jeff

As long as you inserted the pin correctly, it will be fine.
You should pull it once in a while to make sure it works correctly. Just be sure the umbilical cord is disconnected so you don't backfeed the brake controller.

P.S. Welcome to FRF.

As long as the pin did not stay pulled for an extended time (hours) you are OK. It is a good idea when every you unhook to place the cable such that you can grab it quickly should the trailer start to roll. Once the TT is secured, place the cable so that it can not accidentally be pulled while parked.
