Trailer hitch question

The hitch on my f-250 has a sticker that says max hitch weight 1200# with WDH. The trailer I'm looking at has a dry hitch weight of 935# probably more like 1400 or1500# loaded is this doable with a blue ox swaypro.

What is the trailer max weight, then figure 10 to 18 percent of the total for hitch weight. That should give you an idea.

What is your model of TT? You need to know all you weights on the Trailer. Just guessing will only set you up for a unsafe ride. Make a home made tongue scale. It’s not perfect but it’s better than guessing. Or the best thing to do is if you have a CAT scale close by get all your weights from that. Takes a little while but it will be real weight of everything.
