I have a 2019 F150 optimized for towing, including the tow mirrors. I wouldn’t leave home without them when towing, cannot imagine not ticking that box when ordering.
A word of caution: You have to be extra vigilant for traffic at intersections, particularly when they are not 90* ones. Those mirrors absolutely make for a blind spot in your 2 o’clock position, and you need to keep that in mind.

Same here. I had the Clip On ones, but they shook like crazy so gave them to the people who bought my last trailer. The CIPA slide on and then clamp and no they do NOT rub on the mirror housing, there is an air gap.

I added the Fit System clip on mirrors on my 2019 F150 and they work great.

small mirrors

I have a 2020 F150 with standard mirrors and tow a 28' trailer with no problems. I originally thought I would need different mirrors or extensions
but after 2 years of towing with the smaller ones I see no reason to change them.

I have the F150 tow mirrors and I really enjoy them. They have a good sized mirror in association with a good sized convex mirror. They were already on the truck or I probably wouldn't have got them. The power fold is great, when you are a bit too close to a tree etc.
As mentioned, the down side is that they are big, and you have to be careful at intersections because they do create a large blindspot.
I do dread hitting something with the mirrors as they are expensive to replace!

Good camping whatever you choose!

I apologize in advance for this, but my mind is just too wired this way: I thought the purpose of the tow mirrors is "to look back"!

Mirrors

I used the K-Source Universals for 4 years on my Tundra, the worked fine w/o any wind noise. I did zip tie the straps for security.
