Trailer weight distribution: Would you change anything?

I am interested in hearing thoughts on my setup. I’ve driven 500 miles and am comfortable with it, though 30mph crosswinds are no fun above 60mph. Without wind it is smooth sailing at 75mph - other than the 7 mpg, I wouldn’t know it’s behind me.

This is my first rig and first time setting everything up. I just weighed my rig for the first time. I’ve typed in everything I think is pertinent. You can see more details in my sig and in the pictures.

First, my Ram does not have a load rating sticker on the truck. It merely states “see owners manual” which says to go to the website for the info…. I’ve typed the information below and added a screenshot.

GVWR: 6900#
Payload: 1680#
GAWR front: 3700#
GAWR rear: 3900#
GCWR: 13,800#

GCW: 10,760#

Truck weight (truck only): 6000#
Steer axle: 3220#
Drive axle: 2780#
Front height (@ wheel arch): 36”
Rear height (@ wheel arch): 38-1/8”

Truck weight (w/o WDH): 6620#
Steer axle: 2920#
Drive axle: 3700#
Trailer axle: 4160#
Front height (@ wheel arch): 37”
Rear height (@ wheel arch): 36-1/8”

Truck weight (w/ WDH): 6380#
Steer axle: 3260#
Drive axle: 3120#
Trailer axle: 4380#
Front height (@ wheel arch): 36”
Rear height (@ wheel arch): 37-1/2”

Camper weight: 4780#
Tongue weight: 620#
Tongue weight percentage: 13%

FWIW: 25 gal freshwater, 10 gal black, 20gal gray, full 20# LP tank, truck empty except 185# driver and 32 gal of fuel.

WDH: Harbor Freight HaulMaster (1000# tongue and 10,000# max trailer weight)

I would also use a WDH with that camper and a halfton TV, but it really isn't needed for under 5000 lbs gross trailer weight.

It looks like the WD hitch returned just the right amount to the front axle. It appears as if set up perfectly. 30 mph cross winds are hard to drive in but here in west Texas very common. Enjoy the rig

Sounds like it's dialed in right. 30 MPH cross winds will push semi's around if you watch them.

Agree with the previous responses, Looks good ! Get out and have fun! Only question I have is why are you carrying so much water?

Thank you all for the responses. Being my first time, I wanted to make sure I was set up correctly.

I am in the middle of travelling cross country and not staying at campgrounds with hookups.
