Tri-glide Trail aire 5er king pin

Does anyone here use the Tri-glide Trail air 5th wheel pin box?

My father is towing a Columbus 365 with a 2012 2500 Mega cab Cummins and is getting a fair amount of chucking out of the rig. Nothing that I feel is unusual or dangerous by any means. We are definitely looking to improve the ride quality for him as he put nearly 10,000 miles on the camper this year!

The truck has air bags, rear sway bar and a pull rite superglide hitch installed for reference, any thoughts, tips suggestions?

I'm sure somebody has used one and will chime in. We're having the tri-glide put on ours now, so I'll be able to give feedback in a week or so when I get back from work. Anything is better than the ridged pin box. The MorRyde will eliminate the chucking. We've had the MorRyde and loved it. My brother in law has the standard trailair, and that one does not get rid of the forward / aft chucking, but just the up / down shock. I figured we'd try the triglide this time and hopefully eliminate both.

At least in Heaven, RVs will be perfect, and I won't have to keep fixing them.

The Trail Air will be a very good addition, however, a set of shocks at each axle will do more for the trailer/truck ride than any one other thing. The shock kits are available at most CW and with $39 install (per axle) that makes it worthwhile for them to do it. This has made a huge difference in my towing ride.

I have the triglide on my Columbus 320 with 06 Dodge 2500 Cummins and it does a very good job on all accounts. I don't think I will ever be without one again!!

the air bags on the truck helped the vertical movement, but he still has a fair amount of fore and aft movement that he wants to eliminate... Do you have a link to a shock kit? i've heard of people doing it but thought it was a custom deal.

Ok, I was going to airbag my truck and was wondering. I don't really have any issue with chucking, but wanted to level a bit and some help over some big bumps and dips on the roads.

completely off topic, but Chewie, have you looked at doing an EGR/DPF delete to your truck?

Did my fathers and the thing is a MONSTER! gained a lot of responsiveness as well as about 5 MPG improvement already (thats from summer to winter driving even!)

I'm tempted, I've looked at it more than once, been following some threads on cumminsforum.com. I have a lot of power train warranty left, so that's why I'm hesitant. If I were to, I wouldn't add power, just delete the egr and DPF.

The shop my father takes his truck actually suggested he do it after I prodded him enough to consider it!

He drives on the towing tune, which is like 50+ horse power, biggest thing is how much more truck like it acts now! Very responsive, very smooth, exhaust temp dropped over 100* while cruising and like I said 5+mpg...

Other HUGE fact is getting that damn EGR crap off! We did the deletes at about 12,000 miles on the truck and he had roughly 1/8" soot built up on the intake horn of his truck... Tell me that's good for the truck!?

Camping World has them. Don't have a link but they are easy to find in the website. Just search for shocks. Get the 6k axle version, both sets (2 axles and installation) is $325. Not bad and only 2hrs for the install.
