Congrats on the new truck!
For others still shopping, I wanted to address this comment:

That's not necessarily true.
While I can't speak to Ram or GM, this is definitely NOT how it works with Ford. Ford has what is called an Incentive Protection Program. This locks in current incentives at the time of order, even if they're due to expire before you take delivery. Then, when you actually take delivery, you get the option of what was locked in or what is current.
For example, assume you order a truck on 4/1. At that time, Ford has a factory incentive/rebate of $1,000 that expires on 4/30. No problem. You are locked in at that point.
Your truck arrives on 5/20 and you take delivery. Ford has no active incentives/rebates. Again, no problem. You were locked in and get that $1,000 rebate.
But, what happens if Ford launches new incentives on 5/1? Assume that the $1,000 incentive expires on 4/30 and then on 5/1 Ford issues a new incentive for $2,000.
Again, no problem. When you take delivery on 5/20, your dealer releases your locked in $1,000 incentive and you receive the current $2,000 incentive.
As I stated, I'm not sure about RAM or GM. Ford definitely allows you to capture exiting incentives at the time of purchase, though.

Truck sits about 3-4 inches taller .... to top of bed rail 60 inches on 3500 ... should work I use to inflate air springs to get to 60" on top rail of 1500 ... clearly will not know until hitch is in and hooked up ....

Awesome truck Frank. The weight police should leave you alone. By the way, I drove one in Cleveland, Ga for a demo at the Peach rally and it was silent.

Thanks to everyone .... cannot say how pleased I was with the dealer Okeechobee Dodge .... had not seen the truck or knew anything about them except Google ratings ... I asked the General Mgr that I was dealing with online if I needed a buyers order before I took the drive over (2 hrs) he said Frank it will be exactly what I said we are a family dealership and we do not play those games he said bring the work sheet I sent .... so I did and it matched to the penny .... Floor mgr did all the pre-paperwork and just a note they have been there 35 years and they all had on jeans and casual shirts could not tell them from the customers it was as relaxed a atmosphere in a car dealership I have ever seen .... The price was great my next door neighbor just ordered a 2020 Ram 2500 6.4 Hemi 6.4 bed and out the door I was $3000 less for the 3500 6.7 with 8 foot bed but his was a loaded Laramie .... Thanks again for the kind comments

Now go and join Turbo Diesel Register. Com, to learn all you need to know about your truck. I have been a member since Nov. 2007, and this is the best site for the Ram/Cummins vehicles. In this group of fellow enthusiast are former employees of FCA and dealer mechanics. One other feature of this group is TDR publishes a quarterly publication with information on the Cummins engine and other interesting items for it's members.
Here is a link to their home page: https://www.turbodieselregister.com/

Yes they are. What's the GVWR?
My wife can drive pickups no problem, but she thought she would be intimidated to drive this one but will steal it any chance she can.

Clearly there is a difference ... but not much to get use to ... but I drove 1 ton dump bed trucks and long bed crew cabs for 25 years so it just felt like home for me Crew cab with a long bed is the biggest difference .... but only when you need to park it

I just picked up a chevy 2500 4x4 double cab long bed . not quite as long as the crew cab but 24" more of wheel base . makes for smoother ride and better towing . stuck with the gas which suits me fine Love the truck and the price right . still to high for a truck last time i bought a truck it $16,000 now more then double that
