Three Dodge products, three "Blown" transmissions. I don't do Dodge anymore.

You can't even if you wanted to. You can only get a RAM now.

The only reason I got mine is that the 8 speed isn't made by Fiat/Chrysler. I've been burned by their transmissions in the past as well. The 8 speed was a must-have when I was truck shopping.

You're like the 100th person I've heard that has had transmission problems with a Dodge vehicle.

I've had so many friends and family members have transmission problems that it's scared me away from ever buying any Chrysler product for the rest of my life.

Reminds me of the '97 Dodge Intrepid I once owned. Two engines in 25,000 miles, the first one replaced at 500 miles.
Never mind the Ram in my signature..all good so far.

OP, thanks for the warning. I've been looking at my OEM hitch for some time now, and finally pulled the trigger on a new Curt class IV hitch for my 2011 GMC Sierra. The OEM hitch is starting to really show signs of corrosion at some critical points. Good post!!!
