If you want to make your head spin type in the search box (upper RH corner) "best WDH"
LOL it's like walking into a bar and asking who is the best baseball team of all time.

Which trim level is it and what options are you getting?
Higher trim levels and extra options add weight, therefore lowering the vehicle's payload capacity.
So the heavier crew cab and the 4x4 options also does the same thing.
You need to wait until you get the truck before choosing a WDH or a trailer. Its actual real world specs will dictate choices.
You still haven't identified which Flagstaff model number you are talking about.

Like Mike134 said. A properly set up Equalizer 4 is hard to beat. It kept our 30+' TT in line. I'd mention the weight, but it'd give some all knowing folks a heart attack. Didn't have any issues after having it professionally installed like we did with the simple WDH without sway control we used for a while.

I've used a R3 Recurve for the past year and have zero complaints. I have my shank facing upwards and like the fact that the sway bars stay inline with the frame and don't hang low like you see with some of the other WDH.

I think I’ll wait for the truck and check the sticker. Good suggestion.

UJAYY, if you’re concerned about capacity or just want to go with a MUCH lighter WDH that does a fantastic job, take a serious look at the Andersen. It’s very light and easy to connect/disconnect, it’s quiet, clean (no grease required), outstanding sway control, and excellent customer service and support.

The max payload for a 21 Powerboost Hybrid is 2120. That would be a XL 4X2 with no options. So, that is unlikely.

Thank you for posting that.
There are way too many uninformed people on this forum who think you can get the exact payload online.

If you truly want the best a Hensley or ProPride would be hard to beat, but very expensive.
I would stay with a hitch with integrated sway control, I like the Blue Ox sway pro, The Equalizer 4pt probably has the most support on here. There are others that are probably good to, I am just not familiar with them.
Waiting for the truck is a very good idea however with the lead times it may take a long time. If you post the trim level and major options on the truck here or f150forum.com. Someone can probably come close on payload.

My FKWS26 weighs in at just about exacly 7k lbs, With my Propride hitch, I'm 29 feet bumper to front of the hitch. While not a hybrid, I have the 3.5 EB. Current truck has platinum trim with 1526 lbs payload. I've towed this trailer about 30K miles around the country Colorado to the east coast Canada down to Florida.
I think the Propride is the best option for sway. Like ALL hitches there are pluses and minuses. I can usually hitch and unhitch faster than others. Also, I can drop my tailgate while hitched, from what I've read, that can be problematic with other hitches.
New they are expensive, you can cut the cost significantly by buying one used. They are sold when someone gives up RVing or moves to a 5ver. Otherwise, when folks upgrade their trailer, they move the hitch to the new one.
From a number of posts on various forums, it seems actual payload on the hybrids is coming in at about 1250 - 1450 lbs on mid to upper trim levels. There is a long thread on the Airstream forum on several people who are towing with one. Owners gave high marks for the ProPower option.

Not possible on a Powerboost hybrid. I have 21 Lariat w/sticker at 1486.
2120 is Max possible payload on any Powerboost.

I had the Equalizer and now have a Curt Tru Track.... They're both very similar in terms of quality. The Curt is easier to adjust the ball angle since you don't have to take the hitch apart to add or remove washers, it has some additional sway features built into the head and it's $300 less then the Equalizer.
