Weighed In Today

Took my truck, trailer and tablet to the local scale today and took a few passes.

I was curious about a few things:
1. Proper weight distribution set up
2. Tongue weight
3. Weight returned to the front axle
4. Overall weight of the truck, trailer and combination

I'm sure the weight police will have something to say; however, I'm happy with the numbers are close and within spec.

Numbers look good. WDH is doing a good job.

Full gear...

We took delivery of the trailer in late June and have used it 7 nights so far.
I weighed the trailer as it's typically loaded for travel. Propane tanks full, 8 gallons of fresh water, batteries in place, the front cargo compartment full with camp chairs, wheel chocks, etc.

While the combination travels down the road with ease, I was concerned that the trunnion bars were too light duty for the set up. After getting these numbers back, it showed me that the hitch is working on the high end (still within spec) of the trunnion bars capacity of 600-800lbs.

The spreadsheet is very easy to use and I recommend it for anyone that would like to see real world #'s on their set up.

I received it from another member on an F150 forum trying to accomplish the same thing. Not sure where it is online; however, PM me with your email and I can send it direct!

If anyone is interested, I can put something like that onto towingplanner.com.

For now, I've tried to keep the forms simple.
