Weight distribution hitch install

Hello! We have a 2016 274VFK and are loving
it.

My question is regarding installing a weight
disruption hitch with sway control.
We found one that doesn't require drilling into
the frame, but what my main concern is the
small metal beam that is wielded on the main
frame to hold the propane tanks is in the way
of us putting the sway bars onto the frame.

If I drill 3 to 4 holes into the main frame and
just have one hole/bolt going through that
small beam hold the propane tanks, would that
be safe?

Any help and advice would be amazing!

I just did some adjusting on ours (fastway roundbar) to get things lined up. The manual has different options for placement depending on where the tanks are. No drilling of holes was necessary. I suggest downloading a manual on the hitches you are considering and measuring to see if one fits your specific measurements.

Moved thread to the Towing/Hitches sub-forum since the OP is asking for specific questions about WDH installation.
