Gave it a bath, vacuumed out the inside, put on a coat of wax. Looks a lot prettier now...

I couldn't find anything wrong with it, no codes in the computer, no erroneous data, nothing to go on, just no power.
After consulting with sooner colleagues I replaced my Accel coils with factory units $500.00 that didn't help at all. It felt to me like it was starved for fuel and I know the 2005 year they had some injector problems so new injectors $300.00... still no better. I was going to get the PCM flashed (updated) $200.00 but I found a place online where I could get a refurbished PCM with the latest updates already installed for $230.00 so I thought I would try that (nothing to lose but more money) I haven't pulled a trailer yet but it's like a completely different truck now... I'm pretty hopeful that it solved my problem.

I had a truck that did the same thing. You would be going along at 60mph and it would suddenly slow to about 40 like it wasn't getting gas. Pulled over to the side of the road and couldn't find anything. Started it up and it was fine again. Long story short, after 3 dealers and 2 independents trying almost a year to find it (suggested engine replacement), my brother-in-law took it to his fork lift shop and in 45 minutes found it was a cracked air intake manifold causing the problem. They used fluorescent dye to find it. When the engine got above a certain temperature (pulling the trailer) it would open the crack a bit and let in more air and slow the engine. Cooling a little the crack would go back together and it would be fine. If yours persists, you may have the same problem and it might be worth checking. Good luck.

New upper control arms installed and alignment done. Huge difference in steering now and clicking in steering wheel is gone. Will replace lower control arms and toe rods when we get back from a week at the lake.

Tuesday night I had my 9 year old daughter monitor the fuel pressure on my scan tool while I drove... I was able to get it to happen one time climbing a hill (aggressively) and she bored a drop in fuel pressure... I replaced the fuel pump yesterday after work and took my trailer for a test ride up the PA turnpike including several long grades which would've had me at 40 MPH before...
I flew up those hills at 70 mph(I normally don't go over 65 towing)

I decided to get a 5er. Pulled my bed liner and had same done prior to having the hitch installed. I will never buy a bed liner again. Way better solution.

Lights in my 15’ Ram 3500 have always been an issue for me. After my wife hit a deer with her beetle convertible, I wanted to fix my truck. I’ve changed the Projectors to HID’s. Added a 10500 Lumin LED Light Bar and then a pair of LED Flood Cubes at 3600 Lumins each.
This last weekend I finally changed out my stock halogen fog lights for a set of Morimoto XB LED’s on my Ram.
The one photo shows the left side LED against the right side Halogen.
The LED is bright and concise and the Halogen is yellowed and washed out.
The other shows both lit. They are meant to be low and sweep the ground.
Twice the light! Nice mod. I’m done with lights now!

Replaced a burnt out turn signal light. I was a little surprised to realize this is the first bulb I’ve ever replaced on something other than the camper.

Same fogs I'm going to get this fall! I'm debating pulling the trigger on HIDs for the lows, actually have them in the cart right now on HR's website.
What colour are you HID's? The Fogs look very purple in the pic in comparison.

A few weeks ago I installed Timbrens on my truck. So far I like them.

Got a new set of tires on the tv. 4 Michelin tires to keep us safe in our travels. Had some tread left that would have gotten me about 7000 miles but I feel better replacing them prior to our travels.
Some people said I should have waited a few thousand miles but peace of mind is worth a lot to me.

Good move. Most tire failures occur in the last 50% of tread depth and are more vulnerable to puncture from objects they run over. Tires also loose ability to stop as quick on wet pavement below that depth. Tires need to be treated like batteries and when tread depth drops to 50%, "recharge them".
On a news report the other night they showed how a tire worn to the old recommended "Lincon's head on a penney" failed to stop in a safe distance on a wet test track while a tire weth enough tread to just hide "Washington's head" on a nickel stopped in a greatly reduced distance.
Squeezing the last miles out of a set of tires to save $$ could well end up costing a lot more than just money.

Good to hear.
Got my truck washed after well over 7 months since its last bath... Probably 10 states wort of road grime. Cleaned the air filter, changed the oil. Doing the fuel filter probably next weekend if I have time.
