What Suspension Upgrades 2010 Dodge 1500

So, I gots new wheels, a new tower. Traded off the '04 Dodge 1500 QC for a new to me '10 Dodge 2010 1500 Laramie QC.
The old one towed our TT well, but this new one has Dodge's rear coil spring suspension. It's mushier than the old leaf springs. I use a Reese Straight Line WDH and got it basically set up on this rig last night. However, with the old truck if I needed to jog the trailer around at home I could just drop it on the ball and move it. The truck squated, but the suspension had room to move.
This new rig when I drop the TT on the ball it bottoms right out.
So, I'm wondering what other Dodge guys have done on the rear suspension to give her a little more ooomph?
I was thinking Dayton XHD coils variable rate, and Monroe reflex shocks. I don't really want to put load shocks on my DD that hauls a camper 5 or 6 times a year.

Air bags are a common addition.
