Husky Centerline TS 1200 bars. Because it has worked well for me and and no sway.

Had a Reese dual cam for 2 years. Good, but not great. Was close to upgrading the truck or downgrading the trailer. Went with a ProPride. World of difference. Expensive, but Worth it in my opinion, especially with a long trailer and an F150.

ProPride P3 sway eliminated

Blue Ox installed by dealer and eventually tweaked for front axle load at CAT Scales would not comfortably control sway with my 2608BS. I liked the BO, but sway control insufficient on my rig.

Installed ProPride P3 with excellent results. P3 bonus: no need to handle/store WD springs bars. P3 Bonus 2: continuously variable spring tension vice chain link stepwise adjustments allows fine tuning of WD.

Dang, I thought I was going to get to be the first Blue Ox post but RockyGBOT beat me to it! We bought the BO with 1000# bars when we got our current trailer. I set it up and I'm very happy with how it works. Haven't had any sway issues and it isn't noisy like the old WDH with friction bar. One thing I can say I'm not in love with is how the "cam" chain tensioner works. It holds the chains in place with no problem but some times getting the 9th link secure into the groove before tightening it is a pain. Oh, and I bought a 30" breaker bar and socket to replace the bent iron wrench that came with the hitch.

I use the equalizer four way. I used to have the eaze lift chain type with two optional anti sway bars - It wasn't even close to good enough.

Just got an Anderson for my setup. Been on one trip so far with it and it definitely made a noticeable difference....the truck and trailer feel more like one unit now when I hit a bump and the disconcerting feeling of the back of my truck sliding left and right with the slightest side wind or less than smooth steering correction when I would get over 55 mph is mostly gone.

I chose the Anderson because I liked the design of it and I'm not pulling a large heavy trailer, It's 25 feet long and 4000 lbs dry. I think the more traditional style hitches are probably better for longer heavier campers.

Blue Ox SwayPro for 2 reasons:

1. I used my buddy's and it performed really well.
2. Blue Ox is billed as sway prevention while other hitches are billed as sway control. Maybe it's just semantics but it makes more sense to prevent sway than it does to control it once it happens.

LOL, Larry2c! Yes, breaker and socket is better than stock BO "wrench" even with padding on the handle. My only challenge with the BO was getting the desired link captured on the rotating tensioner. I picked up one off every time and had to redo. Maybe I need better glasses.

Use a Husky Round Bar 1,200/12,000 WDH with a friction sway bar. It just plain works. It came with our trailer and we have around 12,000 miles on it. It used to groan like whale calling for its friends when we turned but once I cleaned the friction pads, it stopped.

X2. WDH and sway is far better than 2 brands using bars had previously.

I pull a Flagstaff 26FKBS with a 12K Equal-i-zer with the pads. Dealer was "throwing in" a 10K but I insisted on the 12K. I am happy with it.
Having said this, I used the Andersen on my previous trailer and had no issues. I included it with the trailer when I sold it. Part of me wishes I had given the Andersen a shot just to compare the two.

e2 800# round bar. Moved it over from my previous A-line. Much easier to hook up since I added an electric tongue jack. Tongue weight is 450#. Seems to work well for me though I don't have that much towing experience.

Another Propride P3. Bonus 3: I have plenty of room to drop my tailgate while hitched up.

e2round bar with 800# bars. Dealer installed on my previous Aline & transferred over to my Wolf Pup w/ 450# tongue weight. A lot easier to hook up after add an electric tongue jack. It works for me

Weight distribution hitch

I used spring bars for 13 years. Switched to Anderson and have driven in 18 states, including going over the Rockies, Bear Tooth Pass in Montana/Wyoming.
I paid around $550 for my Anderson, if you offered me $2000 to buy it from me with the stipulation that I could never replace it! I WOULD REFUSE THE OFFER.

We have the same trailer, the same hitch, and the same problems. Checked setup multiple times. CAT scaled it, everything is well within limits. Bought the ProPride and waiting to get time to install it.

Had a Husky set up with the round bars, chain and separate sway control tensioner. Got a Rockwood 2608 and went with the 14/14K Equalizer and just love it. Much better hitch than the Husky and I let the power tongue jack do all of the work. Tow with a 2014 Ram 2500

Equalizer is a great hitch and I had one on my prior trailer. I bought my current trailer used and it came with a Curt Tru track. Same design principal as the Equalizer and similar material and build quality. The difference is the Tru track is $300 less, it has grease fittings for easy maintenance, a cam and ball bearings at the pivot point to help control sway and you don’t have to take apart the hitch and mess washers to adjust the ball angle.
