I can honestly say that I don't know what the back of a chevy pick up looks like. But their front ends are easy on the eyes looking at them through my rear view mirrors in my FORD!

I ran into the same issue when looking to upgrade my 1500 to a 2500, after looking for a few months I decided to get GMC Sierra 2500 Duramax. All we had here in CT was gassers.

Where are all the Chevy diesels?

GM is at the bottom of the heap in sales for 2500/3500 trucks, well behind Ford and Ram. Sounds like if they would just build more then they would sell more. Seems like a no brainer. I know when I was shopping back in 2010 I went to the GM dealer first since I was driving a GM and they had 73 1500 trucks, one 2500 with no tow mirrors, and zero 3500. Bought my first Ford.

If you go to GM.com and do a vehicle locator search you can find them. I see a few pop up here around the Detroit area.

I found my 2013 LTZ on eBay a year ago. Yes, eBay. Three years old , pristine, with 16K on the clock. It has been a gem, no issues at all. The seller even took my 2011 LT gasser with 88K miles in trade. Both were 2wd, I really don't have a need for a 4x4. Going from a gasser to a diesel was the best thing I ever did.

You had to make me look. Now look what I found. Wonder if DW will let me keep it.

Actually I drive by the Flint, MI. GM truck plant where they are built everyday and the lot is full. I have heard the keys are under the floor mat for the car carrier drivers to load them up if you want one really bad.

Ram does sells more 2500 and 3500 diesels than chevy, Both Chevy and Ford have 8 cylinder diesels and they still can't produce the torque that the Inline 6 cylinder Cummins can. 2016 Cummins is rated at 900 ft lbs of torque and the 3500 Ram DRW has a towing capacity of over 32000 lbs. Fords F450 is rated lower than that. If you want a real TV buy a Ram and you wont look back.

It took me 16 weeks to get my 3500 SRW Duramax in 2015. Well worth the wait.

Not in Canada. Ford F Series has been number 1 in sales for 50 years.

If DW would sign off on a new dually I wouldn't care what brand it was. My birthday is this week maybe I'll get lucky

Grayfox, look for 2500/3500 in its own category. That is not it.
