My guess would be "Dealer Installed" ? Those bumper are known for failures when weight is put on them.

After 4 years, I'm happy with it. Only comment: Put some grease on the knob threads or it will rust and you won't be able to unscrew it.

I still say you should try to get what you have to work with a WDH. You may need to modify the spring bar mount but it will be the best result. Mounting an aftermarket carrier to the frame is going to be more difficult because of the coroplast.
