Which weight distribution hitch will work on Rockwood toyhauler

I have a Nissan frontier that that I will be towing a 190XR with. I will have a 500lb motorcycle on the front platform.

Looking at the front of the trailer, I don't know how to mount the bracket for the spring bars. The two WDH ive looked at recommend I out the bracket 27" in from the ball... well that won't work here because of the propane tanks, and even then the height of the beams may be an issue... What do people normally do?

Weight Distribution hitch on your toy hauler?

So, the dimensions of the rockwood popup toy haulers frame seem to be quite different than many other trailers which most WDH are designed for. The brackets for WDH usually get clamped on 27" down the frame rail and the frame rails on most other trailers are not quite as tall. (see pic)

I presume most people who have a rockwood popup toyhauler and load quads etc on it, use a weight distribution hitch, but i am not sure how to mount those brackets? Weld? Drill?

You can order the wide brackets for most WDHs from the Mfgs to fit the wider frames or you can modify the existing bracket and weld on.

Thanks,

I guess the wide brackets will account for the extra height of the stacked frame, but not the length from hitch ball.

I have not seen the trailer in person yet... Does anyone know what it looks like beneath the plastic cover of the electric winch?
