Yes, the price was around $39,000. The closest another dealer could do was $44,000. Msrp was around $53,000.

And the up front down payment. Deal keeps getting more pricey. Later RJD

Yes, financed the $21,000. Still better than buying it out rite and financing $39,000. This was over ten years ago,2006.

I would fear the milage overage fees you'll pay if you do tow a lot. If it is a grocery getter and then a weekend here and there than maybe not so much. I would never lease but both my sisters, father in law and brother in law do and they seem to be happy. We also used to leave our ambulances and even tried police cars for a while. Every two years we got new rigs and were never out of warranty. It just never worked out the way we wanted in the end so we stopped that practice.

I think 15 to 20k is what is considered "normal miles." I put on 25k or a bit more a year so a lease would be out for me... This is also assuming they allow you to even tow without buying a more commercial plan.

I had a leased work truck once. Prepaid 2 year lease cost $10,000. This was a unlimited kilometres, maintenance included and they even threw in a bed liner. Great deal! Also a Ford!

I lease now cheap way to go. Better then buying out right and you have what you need. I have a 2016 ram 3500 dually diesel pulling a 2016 cedar creek 38fl6 with power and payload to spear.

We used to lease trucks back when the interest rates were higher and the payments on leased was smaller than if you purchased. It made financial sense for our situation at the time, and we had a new truck every three years. Then they came out with zero percent financing so leasing was no longer attractive, and we bought the last truck, which is now 11 years old.

You have to look at your situation and run the numbers to see which option fits your lifestyle and goals. It was nice to have smaller lease payments and a new truck, under warranty, every three years. It is also nice to not have any payments for the last six years

We put fifth wheel hitches in all of the leased trucks. Bought accessories that we could move from truck to truck, like running boards and rims. Had a limit of 15k miles a year. Never got dinged for any excessive wear, or mileage. It was a good experience.

We are now retired and looking at SUVs. Some of the leasing options are looking attractive again. Trying to decide between leasing new, or purchasing a used one. Will be interesting to see how it turns out

Ages ago when I was doing field service, I leased my service vehicle.
it was a different situation though because I was able to claim mileage, deduct my lease when I did taxes, etc. Plus my car allowance pretty much covered the lease payment.

I'm not sure I'd do it today, not having deductions and with low (I've even seen 0) interest financing available.

If I was to depend on a warranty for repairs and it was financially better to lease then I would. Plus if you're a person that has to have the latest and greatest and trade in every few years anyway then you may as well lease.
But I'm a hands on guy and always do all my repairs. Plus I hate bills so I own everything outright. I buy used at a savings and don't lease.
