You gotta see this!

Was leaving work and saw this. I don't know if they were bringing us a dealer trade, picking one up, or checking out the motel next door.
I wanted to inspect closer but the truck was running and I didn't see the driver.
- the rear axle was a 8lug trailer axle though, could tell by the hubs.

I seen something similar a while back on the highway. It was a F450 custom pick-up with tandem, dually axles. It was pulling a big 5W with full paint and the truck's paint scheme matched.

Someone had lots of money...

It certainly wouldn't be the first time Dodge played with the idea though. In 1998 they had the T-Rex at the North American International Auto Show.
It was a regular cab, long box with dual rear axles.

There used to be a place that did this. I think they went belly up. They were called usa6x6 conversion. Here is a link to one of there last ones they made.

I wonder how bad the tires wear on the front rear axle from turning .... especially loaded?

Sure it looks fun but what did they use for rearends?
Was there still only one driven axle?
unless it had otr truck axles in it how did they make it a true 6x6?

Confused》》》》》》 Turbs

Usa6x6 went out of business in '08(go figure) they had some cool stuff but definantly not a "must have".
-Turbs from what I have seen they used a gearbox, kind of like a divorced transfer case with a 1-1 gear ratio that was used to power the axles. The axles I have seen them use were the 10.5"rg 14-bolt, and fords 10.25. The front drive axle had a offsett diff. (Kinda like a solid ft 4x4 axle) I'm sure they were custom too. The rear drive looked to be a standard diff axle.

-sorry if its to detailed, a few years ago I was quite the 4x4, lifted, mud truck- guy
