2006 Charleston slideout and leveling problem

I have a 2006 Charleston QS and my leveling system and slide outs are not working. Camping World repair shop said the slide outs and leveling work on the same system and since the system is discontinued they are having problems finding the parts to repair the issue.

Anyone know of any possible solutions or know anyone who sells the parts? They said they need a valve, and have tried 4 already with no success.

I suggested that he replace the system. And add two new separate systems, but he said it may not be possible.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. You have to provide some basic information to get good answers. what system does your rig use for leveling and slide operation. I suspect you have a HWH system but without know there is no way to answer your questions. what parts are you talking about?

Do you know the model of Charleston? Also if you have the VIN# that would help as well. If it is an Equalizer hydraulic system. I would contact them for parts and troubleshooting. PH: 574-364-3437 ext339

Thanks for your response. The motorhome has an old dewald manufacturer hydraulic system and according to the mechanic they do not make parts for the system anymore. I was told it needed a valve replaced. Both my leveling and slides work on the same system. The motorhome is new to me and I'm of coursed pissed that Camping World sold me a motorhome that cant be repaired. This is my first motorhome so I'm pretty green when it comes to parts etc.... I have attached a picture of the system.

I have a 2006 Charleston 400QSClick image for larger version

Lippert Components acquired Dewald Fluid power which became Power Gear. I would contact Lippert to see if they could possibly have any parts. Here are a couple manuals I found that might help you.
