New Dometic A\C H/P error E1 Flashing Blinking Zone 1

Hello New to forum just want to tell a story
My rear Dometic A/C H\P air conditioner went bad under 2years !
We have a 2015 forest river Charleston 43bh
I try Help some fellow RV owners

I install the new unit myself

I had Error E1 and zone one 1 flashing blinking on my thermostat

The end result the brand new dometic
Had one bad phone wire out of two
Communication wires

I cut the two telecom wires out of the old dometic unit installed old wires on new unit and everything works perfectly

Lucky my friend is an electrical mechanical engineer ! I would have never figured this out

So my install the 1st wire was the bad one
Whole system shut down

We switched the new wires and got zone 3 working
But not zone 1 and 2 !

Any way don’t trust new dometic made in Mexico

The E-1 error code means loss of communication between CC2 and the T-Stat "E1 will blink on the display and the zone that has lost communication. Glad you got it figured out
