I thought I would like to share with you some pictures of a campground we were in. Also to give you a heads up about being prepared for weather conditions and evacuations.
Please don't always trust your campground host to alert you to possible emergency. If the weather is bad watch / listen to weather station or local news. We had a 40 ft wall of water come over two farm fields and take out a complete campground. Most of the RV'S got out. But at least 40 of these are lost. Many cabins and building and services were damaged or destroy. Also make sure that you have the insurance coverage you need. Be neighborly and alert to your surroundings. We had less than 2 hour notice. And it was voluntary at the time. I didn't take any chances. We did leave a few unimportant items. But we returned and found most of it. I decided to take a few pictures. I have a lot more. Be safe, think and don't delay in reacting. 😕
