I can go out to the ranch and shoot cactus and fence posts off a horse, four wheeler, gator, motorcycle or out the window of the pickup and be home in 20 min. My wife writes children’s books, and a lot of our travel is for book signings and promotion, I just like to enjoy shooting clays while she’s doing her thing a long way from the ranch!
And with our rig, even ‘dry camping’ is considered ‘glamping’!
LOL!!!

Camp Dearborn in Milford MI has extensive RV facilities and is about a 5 minute drive from the nice shooting facility at Island Lake St park (no camping facilities). The state park also has a nice trout pond (Spring Mill Pond) that is stocked each spring. Also nearby is Proud Lake St Rec area that does have camping and a trout stocked river.

Greg, the campground at the Clay Range in Ben Avery was installed by and for the Clay crowd most of whom travel in accommodation like yours. It's full service, pull through. It's one of three camping areas. While the Ben Avery is nowhere as big as the Wittington Center and lacks the natural beauty it is a full feature range with easy access to Phoenix. I like them both and would suggest doing both if you have time.

Thanks, Paul!
Since we will be in that area for 3 weeks in January, and my wife will be signing books, I’ll have time to go play!

Gonna refer you back to the OldGal's post #6. You won't camp much closer to your preferred ranges and it's a great place near Las Vegas. Click on that link and look at the "master plan" page.

Ben Avery north of Phoenix has an RV park right on the Clay Target Center. Trap, Skeet and Sporting Clays.
A little more rustic is the Double Adobe RV and Trap and Sporting Clays. It's between Douglas and Bisbee Az

Henry Horton state park , just south of Nashville. Chapel Hill, TN. They had several trap and skeet ranges, I don't remember if they had sporting clays

Tucson Trap and Skeet, Coyote Springs Sporting Clays. They have onsite full hookups. There are also 2 RV Parks with in a couple of miles. We prefer the parks, the club is a big parking lot, no shade, and you have to drive something to the clays ranges.
