We've spent two nights total there... a one night stopover on our way to Colorado in August and a one night stopover on the way home. We stayed on the top of the hill in the full service area which was pretty nondescript but a good place to rest.

It's been a few years, but it's a nice park.

You can see the Official State of Texas Longhorn herd. It's an official 'Dark Sky's Park', so stargazing is encouraged. Also, you can camp with your horse.
