Just got back from Tunica and Crater Diamond State park

Met some of our friends from Illinois in Tunica Ms. Stayed at the Mid South Rv park owned by Harrahs. Nice Rv park, ive seen complaints but we were happy with it especially the whopping 14 bucks a night...lol! Had fun at the Casinos and ate at the Paula Deen buffett...yum! We left there and headed over to Murfreesboro Arkansas and stayed at the Crater of Diamonds state park. Narrow sites to back into but very pretty with firepits, picnic tables, tent pads and pole to hang a lantern. Went digging for diamonds and didnt find a thing but it was a fun experience and the Diamond center is interesting.

Sounds like a good trip. Can't say I have seen campgrounds with tent pads and poles for hanging a lantern here in SoCal where I've been but I like the idea.

How narrow are you talking? How big is your rig? We have a 34 ft 5th wheel...would we make it? We are north of Memphis and looking at a fall trip...

We have Crater of Diamonds SP as one of the places we want to visit. Thanks for the information about the park.
