We have reservations at Carlyle Lake, IL for October 28 -30 to winterize.

we are at COMLARA County Park in Hudson.IL. then I start winterizing next week

We are headed out for our last overnight in about an hour. I will clean things that need taken out this next week and then we will winterize next weekend. Our winter project is to figure out how to carry our canoe(s) with us next year.

Heading down to Bennett Spring State Park for 4 days of trout fishing before the sad task of winterizing... Then it's off to Arizona in January!

Well our trip didn't go as planned. We turned heat to take the chill off and then turned it off when we went hiking, which was wonderful, we returned to the frig being off and an indicator light saying a fuse was blown. Ken changed the fuse and turned the heat on again and nothing. NO HEAT. Since the temps were droping into the mid 40s we decided to drive home at 10PM. We live a half hour away so we went back this morning to load up. A trip to our dealer for a furnace check/electrical check will be in the works along with winterizing this week.

you going to dam west oakman? we discovered mcnair our last trip there, its on rt. 50 east of 127. its near the spillway, coe campground and 16 a night. water and electric hook ups only tho.
