Hmmm, I think we need a little more info. Are you looking for a campground, or a place to store your TT? Are you just passing through, visiting, etc.? How close to Ennis do you want to be?

We're looking for a place to stay the night. Something not too far from I 45, maybe 10 miles or so. Ken's (hubby) grandmother has been moved into a nursing home, so we're stopping by for a visit on our way to Kansas.
Well, there is sure not much around there...kind of amazing. I did find this one though. It appears to be electric only...no water or sewer. But it could be okay for an overnight.
I actually live in this area (Waxahachie) and everyone is correct that campgrounds are sparse here. Kind of amazing too. My husband and I have often said we could do well if we has the $ to build one in this area.

If your looking in Ennis stay at waxahachie creek on lake bardwell. It's never crowded and secluded. It off 34 in Ennis. We live in Ennis and stay there when we need a close get away.
Seems now plans may have changed and we will be stopping closer to Gainsville! But that is uncertain too. I hate not knowing what we're doing! I'm a "planner" and like to have the whole trip mapped out before we leave. :/
Oh well. I guess all we really have to worry about is the flaming heat!
