Louisville to Daytona

My wife and I will be heading out on our annual trip to Daytona in February. We usually go through Nashville, Chattanuga, Atlanta and hit I-10 just south of Valdosta, Ga. This is the first time I will be traveling with the camper and I'm not to thrilled about traveling through the mountains in the middle of February with a 36" camper. Been there, done that in near blizzard conditions one year. So, I'm looking at going all the way south to Montgomery, Al and then plan on catching I-10. Beings as there is no interstate that runs SE from Montgomery to I-10, my question is this: What is the best route to take from Montgomery to I-10?

Thanks in advance for any and all assistance.

There is a route just south of Montgomery. around Hope hull....I have used it pulling campers..it takes you down to Deflunk springs......you can catch it at mont. but I prefer to go down to just south of hope hull, take 97, 331, 53, 83 to I10...sounds like lot of roads but actually they are just jumping signs...last time we ran it we were pulling 33 ft....now have 39' and would use it...cuts alot of time off and don't have to use interstate....the route thru Troy to Dothan is good too.
