Road America?

A bit of a newbie question... I'm heading to Road America in Wisconsin for the Indy Car race and they do not have water available to fill my tank. What do you all do? Does anyone know a place near Road America I can fill my water tank so I am not driving with all the extra weigh?

Thanks!

I drive with full fresh water tank all the time.

Maybe gas station might let you fill ?

Back in my 20s we used to go to Plymouth Rock, which was across the road from the track. Boy howdy what a drunken time that was. I see from the app on my phone(RV Campgrounds, which is free BTW) that the "Rock" is still alive and well. Download that app off the Google play store. It's free and with an incredible amount of info. Kinda works like a combo of Google map, mapquest and Google earth.

Thanks! I'll download the app. It's not terribly far to Road America, I was just thinking about the weight

Last time we were there we stayed at Plymouth Rock and got our water there. But that was a few years ago.

Road America does not have potable water for you to fill at. There are 2 dumps onsite one is inside the track and you need to have a pass to get to it and the other one is down in the carousel camping area. Just be careful crossing the bridge it is not very wide and if someone starts coming the other way and is not paying attention (and drives into your lane) you can get pinned against the side of the bridge. Thankfully the only damage was to the awning of the trailer and not the side or the TV.

There is also a dump at the BP on 57 just south of Plymouth that is easy in and out and I now use all the time.
