Rough road I 65
North of Louisville on I65 is very bad for about 40 miles. When we stopped for a break the dinette furniture was rearranged, the clock was off the wall and broken, the cat food even jumped out of its bowl. I was doing 50 to 55 MPH through that area.
I thought those heading to Goshen from the south might be interested.

CSM, you may not feel it as much in your Class A as we did in our fiver.

Believe it or not. ...it does get bumpy. Sure, a much longer wheel base but....you do feel it on really rough roads

Thanks for the head's up- we're headed through there in a few days.
I65 outside of Birmingham, AL was pretty unpleasant, too.

If I may also add. I 65 at I 465 is under construction if you hit it at rush hours (7-9 am and 3-6pm EST ) you may run into heavy traffic with a bunch of moron that will cut you off and tail gate. I apologize in advance for our poor central Indiana drivers.

I was on I65 north of Louisville in the early spring. Right lane for trucks is much rougher than middle and left lanes. Parts of concrete on bridge decks and expansion joints was missing. Stuff has not been fixed yet from the brutal winter of last year. Road construction is everywhere. I would guess every state has it right now and federal highway repair funds are limited.

Starting about 8 miles North of Birmingham, AL on I-65 to about 8 miles South is the roughest road. Both hands on the wheel and HOLD ON!

Just drove this yesterday and it really was as bad as advertised. Unfortunately, I forgot to latch the shower closed after trying to grab a shower at a rest area and they banged around enough to knock the handles off of the doors.
The worst, though- was the end of my nap. My wife was driving and we hit a bump hard enough that I hit my head on the door pillar. I cried a little, I won't lie.
