South Dakota Late October

So I thought we were not going to be able to do South Dakota this year but it looks like we can now on our sons fall break from school which is the last week of October. For those in he know what kind of weather can be expected the last week of October in Rapid City S. Dakota. I have looked up historical data and it does not appear to be too cold. But my wife says she does not want to go on vacation and freeze her buns off.

Normally it is beautiful Fall temperatures getting up to the 60s or 70s in the afternoon. However, you can also have ice & snow storms.
