State parks flooded, where else to go

It's our first year with our little Salem Cruiser 21' and almost all of the state and corp parks in central Texas are closed from the flooding and will be for most of the summer.

Can you guys suggest any non-park campgrounds that you've enjoyed in the eastern half of Texas?

I can't help with non-park sites, but there are still some state parks open, check this link: https://tpwd.texas.gov/state-parks/p...k-alert-status
Although now here comes Tropical Storm Bill!

Thanks!
We found Lake Belton has one park that's open, we might plan on seeing if we can get in.

Have you ever been to Fort Parker State Park?

Fort Parker is great but is closed, it's all flooded in that area. We stayed a week earlier and it was a lot of fun
