Topeka, KS RV parks

Has anyone stayed at a RV park in the Topeka area that they can highly recommend? This will be a business trip that could last 2-4 weeks.

It’s been a couple of years since we stayed there but Deer Creek Valley RV park in Topeka, KS is one of the nicest parks I’ve stayed at. They have concrete roads and campsites and nicely manicured grass. Not much shade but that’s a plus for those with satellite. They have laundry facilities, a dog park, a swimming pool, and a kids playground. The only thing our site didn’t have was a picnic table. I don’t remember if the RV park offered cable TV or not but you are close enough to Topeka to get over-the-air TV. Weekly rate is $250 and monthly is $450.

If you’re looking for a rustic campground experience this isn’t the place for you. It’s more like an RV resort. Since you will be on a business trip I think this is the perfect place for you.

I just looked at their website and it looks perfect. They do have cable and internet. Very good reviews too. Thanks for the recommendation.

I also recommend Deer Creek Valley RV park. You could also check out the Lake Shawnee campgrounds.

Happy camping!
