What are the best places to go in texas?

Ha! I live in New Braunfels...been there done that! One of the best places we havve found is Matagorda Nature Center. Its is an Army Corp of Engineers park on the beach with the Colorado river running next to into the Gulf. The park is immaculate and very nice. Big fishing piers all around and the sites have a picnic table.

Rockaway RV Park on Inks Lake...constant level lake when the others are dry...new owner and lots of improvements...I think there gonna be open year round now...check it out. For a small park its great.

Jamacia Beach, Galveston is one of our favorite spots. Far enough out of the heavy tourist area yet not too far and right across the street from the beach. It stays booked nearly year round so reservations are a must. We have our spot for the month of March
