Ehh, we're home this July 4th. Much rather be aboard Richard Branson's Virgin Galactica viewing the Earth at lofty heights. Oh well, we can dream, right?

Staying close to home. Going to Fayetteville RV Resort, formerly Wade KOA. Two pools and 30 minutes from home.

No camping plans for us, both of us have to work on the 5th, which kinda sucks! But since our pontoon boat is docked on the Mississippi River, only about 1/2 mile from our house, we will probably go on the river on the 4th and then probably again over the weekend. My DWs cousin and her family are spending the weekend with us so a little river time, a few beverages and a camp fire in the back yard are probably going to be on the to do list.

Good old space #58 we love it too! Lots of foot traffic so you meet a lot of nice folks. We 'll be in 58 for the month of July.

DH and I are going to Lake D'Arbonne, a lake about 45 minutes north of us for the 4th. I'm off Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. DH is off only Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. He'll drive in from the lake for Friday, then come back.
We spent this weekend on another lake near us...Caney Lake. Friends from Texas came over (got lucky and got the space next to us) and camped with us. GREAT TIME!
Booked a trip today to got to Texas to *their* favorite spot on 2nd and 3rd of August...Lake of the pines.
Of course we still have our NASCAR trip planned mid August. Bristol here we come!
Mad as hades with our Direct TV install guy. Bought the Winegard Carryout dish, only to be told by Direct that the installer had given us the incorrect receiver for that dish. GRRRRR! Installer gave us his cell number in case we had problems and said he'd come up to the lake. JA didn't answer his cell all weekend.

My plans changed. Was going to spend the 4th and 5th boating then go to our local SP which we love. But, DW and I decided since the youngest is going to a week long summer camp in GA to take the rig and hit the road visit some old friends. So we are spending a couple nights at a park near Jacksonville,FL then on to a county park in Ft Pierce for the 4th with friends and maybe Jekyll Island on the way back. Will spend all day tomorrow getting her ready!!

Andy Guest Shenandoah River State Park for the 4th
Andy Guest Shenandoah River State Park for the 4th, we are already there.
Beautiful cool evening after a hot sunny day and the thunderstorms missed us again.
Great place, but full for the weekend.

Will be working on the 4th. Looks like we will have to take a 2nd tour boat out so the people can watch the fire works at "A" Bay. The first boat is almost full (175 people). If I do have to work it will be a long day 9am till 6 pm doing the one hour tours and then going out a 7pm for a tour of the Islands then being at Alexandria Bay for the fire works. Will not get back to the dock till 11:30 pm. Sounds like it will be a great day.

I sincerely wish you the best with Yogi. We had a pretty bad experience in Montrose, CO. Others have had likewise elsewhere.

We're going there in Sept. make sure you ride the WAVE. It's a free bus service that'll take you almost anywhere on SPI. Have dinner/b'fast at Pier 19.
