Wilson Lake Kansas

Has anyone camped at Wilson Lake in Kansas? I want to know if they have water and power at their RV sites? Thanks for the help.

Plan on PLENTY of wind! The entire lake area has almost no trees so it tends to blow quite hard and consistently. But the water is crystal clear and the views are wonderful. If you get board, drive into the old town of Wilson and look for an old cafe (I think its on Main St). Buy yourself a root beer and play a game of snooker!

Hey Alpineman
My family and I pretty much live there in the summer months, in fact we are going there this weekend for the first time this year with our new camper. The Federal parks have nicer bath houses than the state side because their funding is so low but overall a beautiful lake, we love it. Unfortunelty you wont be albe to get a root beer or play snooker because I think the cafe datasavant was talking about is not open any more but still a neat town. Give us a shout when you are there, we love to meet new fellow RV'ers.

Ya we got a nice spot on the Feds side for four days at the end of June. Can't wait for our little getaway. Will give you a shout out when we are there.
Thanks
