Woolly Hollow Arkansas State Park

Last weekend was the first camp for the 2018 season and man it felt good to get out! If you are traveling through Arkansas or from Arkansas and have never stayed at Woolly Hollow, it is one of my favorite hidden gems! Every site is nice and full hook ups. A few spots on the small lake. Big clean bathroom in the middle of the circle. Saw everything from pop ups to big Class A so no matter what you drive, it will fit. They even have a few pull through sites if that is your thing. It is located just north of Conway off Hwy 65. I love it here so much it was the first year for me to pull out my Cherokee out of winterization. I didn't want any chances on the campsite in case I was dealing with a broken RV. Came away lucky with just one O ring blown. Quick trip to the hardware store and I was back to 100%. I will call that a win for this year!! Bring on camping season. Lord knows I need some campfire time.

BandJCarm I waved as I went through Pickle's Gap!

Have heard good things as well about Woolly Hollow. DE, DD and I spent last week down the road at Toad Suck. Had good time even though weather was not perfect. Will be coming back in July to pick peaches at Battles. Will try to stay at WH. Also went thru Pickles Gap.

We would swim there on occasion when I was in high school. The water looked a bit questionable from time to time, but no one ever got sick.
