2002 Sunseeker Couch Replacement

We recently bought a C 2002 Sunseeker and started renovations right away. The plan is to replace the jack knife sofa with a recliner loveseat, but when we removed the couch we found a platform that covers elec, etc. but only on a portion of the slide out. The old sofa had a longer leg on one side to make up the 1-1/2" difference. Has anyone else encountered this condition and how did you modify the floor to accommodate new furniture? Thanks!

There are a bunch of retired engineers on this forum but we are all busy trying to screw in a light bulb. If you can post a picture of what the issue is, I’m pretty sure somebody can come up with a mod suggestion for you. Please keep in mind that the recliner you intend to use plays a part in the mod.

Meanwhile, Welcome to the Sunseeker section of the FRF.
