Hi Folks
We picked up this unit yesterday and today we tried out various things to see how they work. The one thing that concerns us is the "heater" blowing cold air.

There is no Auto setting, just put in the desired temp and off you go. The propane is on and we used the generator for power, any thoughts you have would help.

If you’re talking about the propane furnace, if it has not been used in a while, there may be air in the gas line. Have you attempted to start the furnace a least 10 times to see if the gas line is purged? Does your refrigerator, water heater, and gas cooktop run OK on the propane?

If you search the forum for “furnace air gas line” there are many threads that suggest this as a possible cause.

Yeah......I concur. Make sure you’ve got a good steady flame from all your stovetop burners to verify the propane is flowing well. 2-3 minutes Max should do it, then try the furnace again.

I see you’re just down the way from us here in Southern Ontario.
Did you buy from a dealer or private?

Try setting the thermostat to “fan”. If yours is like mine, you should then find choices of “Hi”, “Lo”, and “Au”. Choose “Au” (auto) to have the fan only run when the thermostat turns the furnace on. Then choose “heat” or “furnace” and set your desired temperature. On mine, the auto setting only appears in the fan mode - but effects the furnace mode.

On mine, heat comes out of the baseboard ducts. The fan in the AC unit comes on with the furnace to circulate the air using the ceiling ducts, but air circulated by the ceiling ducts is not heated.
