2014 Sunseeker 12v wiring ?

I am planning on installing a MaxAir fan in my bedroom. There is currently no electric fan installed just a vent. I took the lower shroud off to see if by chance it was already wired for a fan. It is, apparently. There is a single loop of white wire very similar to lamp cord. I plan on cutting the wire to see if it provides 12v. I am thinking they just run a single stretch of 12v wire to all the places requiring 12v. Meaning I will have to reconnect the loop and tap off of it to get my 12v source for the fan. I have also observed that the 12v light fixtures are actually fed 6v. Not sure I completely understand the thinking of the wiring concept in this motorhome. Don’t want to do any damage so any insights that can be provided that might help me the concept of the 12v circuit will be appreciated.

Low Voltage

The wire you found behind the garnish is 12V. Should be White and White/Brown Stripe pair. I know of no 6v circuits for anything. I think you unit is too old for USB ports which would be 5V. Houston, you’ve got a problem.

I also suggest you not cut the wire. Try a T-Tap. Installing a 5 amp mini blade fuse while you are at it would not hurt.

Normally the white is used for ground for the 12V side of the coach. A good digital multimeter will remove all doubt.

Here is the missing r from my earlier post. Sorry, pfat pfinger.
