I'm afraid to go out and check my air bag psi. It's been 2 weeks since I filled them to 65 psi. I was going to check and tighten the air hoses, but they seem unaccessible. May just let the dealer handle it if there is an issue when I bring it in with the "to do list".

rear dually and air bags issues
Just checked the air bag pressure and it's down to 50 psi from 65 in 2 weeks. The tire pressures were fine with no loss in fronts and inner rears. The screw on "J" valves were down 5-8 psi. I'm going to definitely have to do something. I hope if I buy new permanent "J" vales and have them installed, that I won't have to trim away at the wheel liner simulators to make the fit. Had to do that with my Winnebago.

Hey Boso Thought you had the side view camera thing fixed? As for the air bags you might be better off to just run new lines yourself and be done with the dealer.

I did to but they go to hell every time it rains and stays like that for days but I know it's not the actual side cameras it is something else causing it. The dealer tried to hunt the leak on airbags could never find it. They leak faster when traveling. Now counter top peeling at sink and this is the newer style on Sunseeker. Now camping world won't finish the job without a ok from FR because it is going to be out of date on warranty before they can repair even thou they had it in there shop and didn't finish the job. I have had more issues with warranty on this Rv than the other 5 put together. Most were the poor service that I got from camping world which is my dealer in Myrtle Beach.Buyers beware

Hey guys, my new Forester has issues with the drivers side camera. Works intermittently and I'm wondering if rain or washing it has something to do with it. Doesn't look like it's well sealed and water can drip down and get inside the little cup holding the camera. I don't see any wear hopes either. But the passengers side always seems to have the AC dripping down on it and never a problem with that one??
Dealer is aware of it but every time I bring it in, it's working and they can't fix what's not broke.

Yep same thing but I replaced cameras and it is still doing it the cameras are waterproof and the housing can fill with water but cameras are still sealed the weep holes can be enlarged but if like mine it won't help problem lies somewhere else. The back camera, multiplexor,or the monitor . I think that covers it but I did get pics this time as the cameras changed focus on a 7 hr trip and then a couple days later still blurry

I installed the airlift system. I also have a small leak somewhere. Compressor comes on for a second or so every now and then.

I'd like to jump in with a question that's related to the airbag issue (I think), if I may. I've got a new 2015 3010DS. When we brought it home from the dealership in May, my wife was following me. On arrival, she commented on the left lean of the unit. I contacted FR by email and they indicated that I need to take it to the dealership for repair and then an alignment. I contacted the dealer, but they will only take it if I make an appointment 3 weeks out and weekdays only. I can't drop it off the night before, either, I have to be there with it. Never saw anything like the "service" department in my life. They never answer phones and they won't return calls if you indicate that you have a question. I digress.
Could this be an under-inflated airbag/unbalanced inflation issue? It handles ok with no noticeable drift, although I'm used to driving a fully loaded full size Ford work van daily.

Check the air pressure in the bags, there is a valve on either side of the MH, if they are not the same it will give you a lean to one side. There are other issues that can give you a lean but checking the pressure is a good start.

back to cameras
Getting back to the cameras, my driver side camera will show "NO SIGNAL" on a blue screen. Switching cables around isolated it to the cable or camera. Working fine in my driveway. Let's see what happens on a 3 day trip at the end of next week.
When it wasn't working, I did removed the camera housing and there was nothing loose, just the camera and 2 screws holding two wires. Couldn't remove the cover on the bottom of the middle of the mirror arm. Maybe some connectors in there. But it's working right now.

Boso, are you referring to the multiplexer? If so, mine is located behind the lower panel under the steering wheel. The panel just pulls out along with the OBD plug.

If all cameras are acting up I would consider the multiplexer is the cause. If you haven't checked it it is located at the "knee" panel above the steering column. It is famous for getting tossed around and losing connection on the power side of the modulator. I would suspect the ground but it would be best to check all with a good volt meter.
My personal experience is I problems with the display cutting on/off when selected for rear camera. The dealer replaced with a new multiplexer twice but had the same problem. I called RVS for "higher" technical support. They directed me to look at power to the modulator.
Short of a long story, I had a taillight bulb that the bulb socket wasn't connected properly - basically shorting between the two filaments. It was barely detectable until I saw one of the bulbs dimly lit.
I have since changed all my Bargman incandescent to LED and never had trouble again.
Bulb shorting was a feedback on the turn signal since the multiplexer is operated by voltage sensed on each turn signal lamp.
In my opinion it is easier to troubleshoot from the multiplexer than it is going into the outside mirrors.
Good luck.
Bobby
