2016 3010ds outside speakers

So why is it that I can not have any audio/video equipment that is outside play on overhead outdoor speakers? So far as I can tell I can only make inside equipment play outside. Now I'm not a genius but this seems strange.

I agree with you , I just bought a 2016 3010ds and all I can do is play the coach radio from inside on the outside speakers. I don't understand why they didn't run the outside tv audio thru the big outdoor speakers

x3 on disappointing. As much as it costs to have the outside TV it would be nice to be able to use the outside speakers.

Any sound that would come from coach radio speakers like your coach TV needs to be connected to radio. I dont know why they didnt decide it was important for the outside tv. Your coach TV is connected to the coach radio via a HDMI cable. The coach radio has on open set of RCA jacks labeled as aux 2. Just run RCA cable from outside TV to coach radio and you will be set.

My 2016 Forester came with the upper outdoor speakers being controlled by my dash radio. Seems silly with an outdoor entertainment center with TV/DVD/CD/RADIO.
So I re-wired mine off the entry step well cabinet wall switch and down to the outdoor radio. Took a while to figure it out, but its works. Now the TV, radio/cd/DVD player all play thru the upper outdoor speakers if I set the fader to front. Prior, there was nothing coming thru any speakers when the fader was moved to front.
